I came to energy policy the long way around — through a bachelor's that taught me how to ask why a system works the way it does, and a master's that taught me how to measure when it isn't.

What pulls me back to this work is the sense that the grid is becoming legible in ways it never used to be. The data is there. The models are there. The willingness to act on them is what's still being negotiated.
